Working with our friends at Listen we produced this film for Microsoft which tells the story of visionary artist Mel Chin’s newest mixed-reality public art exhibit, Unmoored. Unmoored utilizes physical sculpture as well as augmented reality technology to show participants what Times Square would look like submerged beneath 26 feet of water--a potential outcome if climate change goes unchecked.
The goal of the film was not only to reach a broader audience but to explore how the powerful relationship between art and technology can promote empathy and ultimately, real change.
